"I had never even heard of two of them until six months ago and one of them worked in my building."
--Vanity Fair editor-in-chief Graydon Carter in a Women's Wear Daily article on three "Dude-itors" of magazinedom: Hugo Lindgren of The New York Times Magazine, Adam Rapoport at Bon Appétit and Josh Tyrangiel at Bloomberg BusinessWeek. Whose existence did Carter acknowledge first, you may wonder? Well, Carter seems to rule out fellow 4 Times Square denizen Rapoport. That leaves Lindgren and Tyrangiel to fight for claim of first reaching Carter's consciousness. We recommend a paintball duel.
