Donald Trump's Pitch for Romney: Trust Me, He's Nothing Like Me
Just a little over a month after Donald Trump made the decision not to run for president "easily or without regret," he gets his big NBC payday. The New York Post reports that NBC/Universal has agreed to give Donald and his co-producer Mark Burnett a two-year $160 million dollar contract to re-up for Celebrity Apprentice. As host, sources tell the Post that Donald will keep $65 million dollars a year of that tidy sum. Just like that, it seems long-ago worries that Trump's Birtherism would drive liberal viewers away from the show have now dissolved. With the payday, he becomes the "highest paid" reality star on television, which somehow seems like a fitting return to normalcy.
