As Reuters reports: It turns out, after a bit of resistance, both Rupert and James Murdoch will appear to testify before the U.K. parliament next Tuesday. The hearing is about the damaging phone hacking allegations that shuttered tabloid News of the World and have enveloped News Corp. Rebekah Brooks, former editor of the World and current chief executive of News International, will also be there. Earlier this morning, the Murdochs had both refused to attend.
