Soon, Anna Wintour Will Be Bossing Around Everyone at Condé Nast
Only 24 hours after Condé Nast executives issued a condemning warning, the anonymous tweeter behind the @CondeElevator account appears to have given up. "Girl or Guy #1 [in elevator alone]: This got really crazy. Love my job. Better stop. #sorry," @CondeElevator tweeted on Thursday. That warning--which honestly was more of a scolding glance dressed up in a long history of ruthless crackdowns on Condé employees leaking information from the magazine publisher's headquarters--resulted in attempts to unmask the person behind the account. Some thought it was surely someone from Teen Vogue. Others insisted that it was a GQ editor. Everybody was sad to see it end.
