Keith Olbermann's become known for pulling other media outlets into the ring when he gets into fights with his former bosses at MSNBC and ESPN, and he's taking The New York Times' Twitter-fueled media reporter Brian Stelter. Following coverage from The Times, Olbermann is taking swings at the paper's young, sort of movie star Stelter for "erroneous" and "shameful" reporting. Stelter more or less broke the story of a recent dust-up between TV star Keith Olbermann and the management at his new network Current over what could either be interpreted as a miscommunication about Olbermann's role in covering the Iowa causes earlier this week or a proper fight between Current and Olbermann, who Stelter's sources say is "disgruntled" and claimed that the reporter attempted to "threaten" him into going on the record. Olbermann's already denied that he's disgruntled, and in what's becoming a full blown Twitter spat, Olbermann launched into a fast-moving series of tweets on Thursday afternoon:

Soon thereafter, Stelter sent his return volley, and it's unclear if he's attempting to taunt Olbermann or stand by his story or both:

Lawyers for the anchorman and the channel that employs him are having conversations amid a dispute about whether he can and will anchor special election coverage.
