Fox News thinks Media Matters is out to destroy it, and its resident psychiatrist knows why: Because Media Matters founder David Brock can't get over the fact that he was adopted. Dr. Keith Ablow said on Fox News Wednesday that Brock "feels destroyed in himself," and is therefore "a dangerous man," ThinkProgress noticed. And all that destruction is being aimed at Fox News!

Ablow's a real psychiatrist, so he must know what he's talking about, right? Actually, he doesn't. As TP points out, "Ablow notes that he has never actually evaluated Brock," so his statements should be met with skepticism. They're also likely to be met with more than a little anger from people who were adopted or have adopted children.
