Tucker Carlson's Daily Caller has gone full-McCarthy in its coverage of a "special report" by Americans for Limited Government about an Obama nominee sending her children to a summer camp which was started in 1923 by leftist New York City Jews. The group's revelation on New York Fed economist Erica L. Groshen, who President Barack Obama nominated to head the Bureau of Labor Statistics, boils down to the discovery of her and her husband's name in the 2011-2012 Camp Kinderland directory, which Matthew Boyle explains, "indicates that they sent children to the camp during the 1990s and 2000s." Sounds pretty bad, right? There's more. "The U.S. House Un-American Activities Committee and New York state investigated the camp for its communist ties in the 1950s," wrote someone entirely unironically in the year 2012. There's not much mentioned about how the Jewish summer camp is currently indoctrinating its charges except that they got involved with Occupation Wall Street last year. Nevertheless, the world is, thanks to The Daily Caller, just a little bit safer from the rise of kinder-communism this morning.
