Glenn Beck, the former CNN and Fox News commentator who's been relegated to the radio and internet, is getting his own television channel, reports the New York Times' Brian Stelter

Stelter reports an announcement will be made on Wednesday that Beck's The Blaze TV will be offered as a new channel by the Dish Networks. He is taking a streaming television channel and selling it to cable and satellite companies. The channel will still be available online, too. They just want to do 'TV the traditional way.' Chris Balfe, the president of Beck's media company, Mercury Media Arts, isn't worried about cord-cutters, either:

Mr. Balfe wrote in the blog post that he had come to believe that the payment model used by cable and satellite companies would remain in place for some time, despite efforts by outsiders to chip away at it. “It’s smart for us to take advantage of that,” he wrote.

The Blaze currently charges a $9.95-a-month subscriber fee to watch online. But they're looking to get into even more homes and on even more television sets than they are now. A full screen domination, if you will. "We are in active discussions with other operators," Balfe told the Times
