Sarah Palin will be appearing on Oprah Winfrey's show in November to push her buzz-generating memoir, Going Rogue: An American Life, to the host's legions of hungry readers. This appearance comes a year after Oprah publicy endorsed Obama and said she'd only invite Palin on her show after the election. There's little doubt the two still don't see eye-to-eye on politics, but with millions in book sales at stake, could the two women be headed for reconciliation? Maybe. In the meantime, pundits are tripping over themselves to weigh in with wisecracks:

• Michael Park, People Magazine: "Oh, What a Difference a Multimillion-Dollar Book Deal Makes"

• Adam Serwer, Twitter: "Palin probably thinks Oprah can't make her look dumb. This is a mistake."

• Ben Frumin, Talking Points Memo: "It'll be interesting to see if and how she and Palin talk about last year's presidential campaign -- not to mention some of Palin's more inflammatory contentions, including that Obama was 'palling around with terrorists,' He said. "And while it's hardly a sure thing, it seems unlikely that Palin's memoir will join 'East of Eden' and 'The Sound and the Fury' as recommendations for Oprah's Book Club."

• Andrew Greiner, NBC: "Now that Palin has a potential blockbuster on her hands, Oprah is making good on that 'love to have her' statement."

• Thomas Conner, Chicago Tribune: "Think Oprah can see Russia from her Chicago skyscraper?"

• James Poniewozik, Time Magazine: "It'll be interesting to see how Palin presents herself on the show, and how soft or contentious the interview will be on both sides."

• Alex Koppelman, Salon: "Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin probably doesn't need much help getting her book, "Going Rogue: An American Story" on the bestseller lists. But just in case, she's going to be the beneficiary of an assist from one of the most powerful forces for book sales out there: Oprah Winfrey."

• Buzzflash, Twitter: "Let's hope Oprah gives Sarah the James Frey treatment."
