Just as the Sundance Film Festival wraps up, the sad news of Miramax's closing is sweeping the film world. The indie powerhouse's parent company Walt Disney Studios will shutter their NY and LA offices, cut the jobs of 80 people, and leave six movies' fates up in the air. It's hard to deny the influence of the Weinstein brothers' studio on both movies and pop culture--especially after taking a look at the list of seminal films the outfit has produced.

In a tribute to the studio, a compilation of five of the best moments in Miramax history:
