Conservative blogger and Red State impresario Erick Erickson made an appearance last night on the Colbert Report. Colbert confronts Erickson with some of his more scabrous Tweets (e.g., Linda Douglass is the "Joseph Goebbels of health care") and asks him which ones he'd repeat on camera. Erickson disowns two.
Afterward on his blog, Erickson admitted he was "ambivalent" about his performance, but took heart from the fact that the left "went insane" over it. (Though Think Progress and the Huffington Post did pick up on it, the signs of "insanity" were slight.)
