Morning Vid: Elvis's Birthday Marked by C-SPAN

If you're in Memphis, you may mark local hip-wiggling legend Elvis Presley's 75th birthday by watching a Memphis Grizzlies tribute, a "Viva Elvis" Cirque du Soleil acrobatics show, or flooding Graceland to peruse Presley's iconic fashions. (Lucky locals can browse the whole events calender here.)

If you're in Washington, D.C., you celebrate Elvis's birthday by convening a 1 hour and 14 minute panel to discuss Elvis's 1970 meeting with Nixon. Elvis apparently appeared at the White House gates with a hand-written letter, offering his services to work as an undercover federal agent. See the full discussion at C-SPAN here.
