So when critics caught wind that Gaga was sitting down with CNN's decidedley un-hip Larry King—many predicted a train wreck. They were wrong. The 76-year -old host cracked Gaga's surface getting her to speak about her lupus (she tested "borderline positive) and her previously unknown tour plans with Michael Jackson (she was set to open for Jackson on his "This Is It" tour).
Of course, there were awkward moments: at one point King stumbles over her given name (Stefani Joanne Germanotta) and later he dons a pair of sunglasses to imitate her style:
