Sarah Palin: OK With Marijuana?

Jared Keller 515 Views Jun 18, 2010
Sarah Palin, pro-pot? Discussing the role of government with Ron Paul on the Fox Business Channel, the former Alaska governor's answers took an interesting turn when talk turned from energy and the right to bear arms to the use of recreational drugs like marijuana. While Palin stated that she was against legalizing pot, she made some surprising statements on efforts to stamp out its use. "We need to prioritize our law enforcement efforts," said Palin. "If somebody's gonna to smoke a joint in their house and not do anybody any harm, then perhaps there are other things our cops should be looking at to engage in and try to clean up some of the other problems we have in society." The topic is broached at 13:01.
