Twitter Rushes to David Weigel's Defense

David Weigel, blogger for The Washington Post, resigned Friday morning after several of his confidential e-mails were leaked on the Mediabistro site FishbowlDC. Weigel, whose views skew libertarian, had covered the Republican Party for the Post, and the leaked e-mails contained disparaging remarks about a number of prominent conservatives. While the right has reasons for wanting Weigel unseated, many in the media have reacted with incredulous disgust. Here are some of the most incensed Twitter responses:
