Twitter Unites Kanye and The New Yorker

Twitter can be a great cultural unifier. Perhaps in an attempt to one-up NBC's setting "Levi Johnston" tweets to bongos and bass, Twitter users, under the hashtag #KanyeNewYorkerTweets, have been pairing rapper Kanye West's tweets with New Yorker cartoons. For example:

This wound up leading to what must surely be one of the great Twitter exchanges of the medium's short history. Kanye West gave it his stamp of approval:
