Chewbacca Illustrated as Winnie-the-Pooh

While Star Wars purists may bristle at seeing their favorite burly Wookiee given children's cartoon treatment, they'll soon come around to these endearing portraits of Chewbacca rendered in the style of Winnie-the-Pooh artist E. H. Shepard. Drawn by artist James Hance, whose book of drawings Winnie the Chew comes out  on September 1st, the images also seem to recall the vivid nostalgia of Calvin and Hobbes cartoonist Bill Watterson.
