Paris Hilton 'Banned' From Japan

Erik Hayden Sep 22, 2010
Depending on where you consume celebrity gossip, Paris Hilton has apparently been "barred", "banned", "booted", "snubbed", "kicked out" or at least told  "Sayonara" by Japanese officials who aren't allowing her to enter the country. The reason? Japanese immigration authorities didn't care for her pesky drug conviction in Las Vegas (the one where she coyly told police that she believed a bag of cocaine found in her purse was "gum").  And now, according to those same high-velocity celebrity sites, she's either "fleeing" or just amicably, but pre-emptively, heading back on her private jet back back to more hospitable grounds in the United States.

For her part, Paris didn't appear to be ruffled by the incident:

About to take off. Going home now. So dissappointed to miss my fans in Asia. I promise to come back soon. I love you all! Love Paris xoxoless than a minute ago via ÜberTwitter
