Combustible Randy Moss Returns To Minnesota

Ray Gustini Oct 6, 2010

The New England Patriots shocked the sports world Wednesday by shipping wide receiver and unwitting Russ Feingold campaign spot star Randy Moss to the Minnesota Vikings. Moss, arguably the greatest receiver in NFL history, played the first six years of his career in Minnesota, only to be shipped out after the 2005 season following a litany of off-the-field incidents. In a sport where big trades are rare and in-season trades even rarer, the move qualified as a seismic event. A sampling of reactions from Twitter.
