Happy Hour Vid: Colbert Mimics Whoopi, Walks Off 'The View'

Erik Hayden Oct 19, 2010

Five days ago, an exasperated Whoopi Goldberg walked off the set of The View after Bill O'Reilly declared that "Muslims killed us on 9/11." Stephen Colbert, naturally, decided to do the very same thing. On Tuesday, after talking for a while about snakes and bedbugs, he gave his "honest opinion" of Bill O'Reilly. (He also suggested making The View's studio into a mosque.) "Papa Bear," as Colbert calls him, "was talking about emotion...about what felt right." Colbert then leaps from the yellow couch and "storms" off the set to audience shouts and applause.
