Axl Rose is suing the makers of the insanely-popular video game Guitar Hero for $20 million because the company used his classic ditty "Welcome to the Jungle" without featuring his image prominently.
Rose is miffed because in Guitar Hero III features Rose's old bandmate Slash prominently when playing "Jungle." Rose is the majority owner of trademarks associated with Guns N' Roses. He says game maker Activision Blizzard Inc also "exploits the prior association between Slash and Guns N' Roses, promotes Slash's and VR's (Velvet Revolver) separate interests and includes VR tracks as available downloads, all of which was and is directly contrary to the contractual obligations of Defendants," Radar reports.
