Harry Potter Footage Leaks, Warner Bros Furious

Elspeth Reeve 20 Views Nov 18, 2010

Warner Bros is hunting for the scoundrel who leaked a whole 30 minutes of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to the Internet. The footage was posted to sites like thePirateBay.org and scattered throughout the digital landscape; Warner Bros. is trying to scoop up the illegal clips.

"It's unclear if the leak will affect the performance of the film, the seventh installment in the 'Potter' franchise," The Wall Street Journal's Lauren A. E. Schunker reports. (That seems unlikely, as the films have made $5.4 billion so far.) Still, the studio is promising to "prosecute those involved to the full extent of the law."
