Video: Pat Buchanan Backs Up Rick Santorum

Caitlin Dickson 26 Views Jan 21, 2011
Pat Buchanan offers up a defense of presidential hopeful Rick Santorum's comment yesterday--that being black should also make President Obama anti-abortion. On MSNBC's Janning & Co., Buchanan attempted to rationalize Santorum's controversial statement by saying, "disproportionately, African American women are the ones having abortions. And it's African American unborn babies who are being destroyed at a disproportionate rate." He also makes reference to the early twentieth-century eugenics movement, with its "dreadful" slogans such as "more from the fit, less from the unfit" and forced sterilizations.

Buchanan notes that he is not offended by Santorum's comments, but, from this video, it seems another MSNBC commentator is offended by Buchanan's.
