Aside from being arguably the most awesome movie in the last 30 years, Groundhog Day is still an actual event, with
Punxsutawney Phil in the lead role instead of Bill Murray. 98 out of the past 113 times he's seen his shadow, in fact, signifying a long winter. This year was different: Phil says we're getting an early spring! Thanks buddy, we expect that will be coming with all the usual perks: lower heating bills, trips to the beach in April, and those little leeks that pop up for a week or two, whatever they're called.
