With film versions of Too Big To Fail and Game Change set to debut in coming months, HBO has been betting big on modern political docudramas of late. The trend continued today with the news the network is planning a mini-series about the career of Dick Cheney.
Deadline's Nellie Andreeva broke the news of the project, which will be based on New York Times former Washington Post correspondent Barton Gellman's book Angler and Frontline documentary The Dark Side. Rick Cleveland, a former West Wing writer, will write the script for the project.
