• Author James Frey will return to The Oprah Winfrey Show next month, five years after the talk show host lambasted the author over fabrications in his memoir, A Million Little Pieces. Frey will be there to promote his love-it-or-hate-it new novel, The Last Testament of the Holy Bible. He'll be the hour-long program's only guest and the two sides plan to "talk about everything that's happened over the last five years," says an unnamed source close to the author. [Page Six]
• Emma Watson's peers at Brown University weren't thrilled with the Harry Potter star's fondness for class participation. Every time she answered a question, classmates would yell Harry Potter quotes. The most popular taunt? "Three points for Gryffindor!" Watson dropped out earlier this month. [Gatecrasher]
• Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has a steely reputation, but she couldn't hold back the tears at a recent birthday party for Vogue creative director Grace Cottington Coddington, whom she praised as the "heart and soul of the magazine" before choking up. [Page Six]
• Jerry Seinfeld canceled an upcoming performance at a benefit for the Eric Trump Foundation, citing disagreements with the elder Trump's criticism of Barack Obama. That isn't sitting well The Donald, who expressed his frustrations in a letter to the comedian. Trumps notes he appeared on Seinfeld's "terrible" and "failed" NBC reality show The Marriage Ref. "Despite its poor ratings," wrote Trump. "I didn't cancel on you like you canceled on my son and St. Jude. I only wish I did." [Page Six]
