Mad About You star Paul Reiser's new sitcom, the unconventionally titled The Paul Reiser Show, premiered on NBC last night. How was it? Split Sider's Steve Ciccarelli put it best: "Paul Reiser is still Paul Reiser." (This is not simply a put down: he's playing a wealthy, retired comedian named Paul Reiser).
Only a cameo from Reiser pal Larry David stopped the premiere from being a total wash out. Here's their longest dialogue scene, in which the Curb Your Enthusiasm star (playing himself) proves that while Paul Reiser is still Paul Reiser, Larry David is still Larry David.
