Jon Stewart on How Close Bin Laden Was to Pakistan's 'West Point'

The fact Osama Bin Laden had been living in plain sight at a compound in Abbottabad for six years has raised questions about just how committed Pakistan was to tracking down the terrorist leader. (Naturally, Pakistan is "dismayed" by such doubts.)More disturbing to Jon Stewart was the fact Bin Laden was living within a half-mile of the Pakistani Military Academy, "Pakistan's version of West Point in a town surround by ex-military officers." Last night, The Daily Show host framed the distance in New York City terms: "Bin Laden was 21st and 7th avenue, they were on 21st and 9th avenue." For those not familiar with Manhattan geography, he offered a comparison that was even more striking: "If the Pakistani Military Academy were Domino's, they would deliver to bin Laden on foot."
