Jon Stewart Not Exactly Bowled Over by These 2012 GOP Hopefuls

The first, sparsely-attended GOP presidential debate took place last week in South Carolina, but Jon Stewart just had to revisit it on The Daily Show last night. After posting a complete list of every Republican--living, dead, or fictitious-- who didn't attend the debate on the show's Web site (our favorites: Mark Hanna, Everett Dirksen, and Frasier Crane), Stewart took stock of the candidates who were there. He was not impressed. Rick Santorum has a Google problem, Tim Pawlenty is "Blandington J. Vanillaman," Ron Paul keeps forgetting "the correct answer [to any debate question] is prayer in school," and Godfather's pizza founder Herman Cain will always be "the pizza guy whose pizza chain is named after the head of the Mafia."
