What the Winklevii and Former Bush Staffers Have in Common

No fewer than eleven members of George W. Bush's senior White House staff--including Karl Rove, Andrew Card, Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld--have come forward in the days since the death of Osama bin Laden to make the case that their former boss deserves credit for the strike that killed the al Qaeda leader. This makes very little sense, because if George W. Bush had killed Osama bin Laden in a daring midnight raid, he would've killed Osama bin Laden in a daring midnight raid. On The Daily Show last night, Jon Stewart stretched The Social Network analogy even further.  "They're like the Winklevoss twins of getting bin Laden," said Stewart.
