Here at The Atlantic Wire, we respect and value the social media editors who share the links that make our jobs easier. Sometimes, though, we have no idea what they're talking about. So after a day of staring at Twitter, we're sharing our favorites.

It should be noted that both the alleged attacker and victim are French. American celebrity impersonators don't go in for this stuff.

It's Academy Award nominee Chris Cooper, which is shocking--we had our money on Dr. Bunsen Honeydew.

Don't laugh. He's probably already being vetted.

You can never go wrong with a Godfather reference on Twitter. Even when the piece is about elephants.

We can't be sure, but the New York Post has to be among the Twitter leaders in tweets about people coming back from the dead. Although if the Transylvania Times would be a close second, if such a paper existed, and maintained a Twitter feed.

A stimulating question. But they neglected to add #slatepitches.
