This could've been a scene from some Angeleno's surreal dream: hosting a candle lit dinner party on the 405 as the sun sets on an empty freeway. Thanks to last weekend's mostly pleasant Carmaggedon, it briefly became reality for Jesse Glucksman and a few friends who hopped a fence in Sherman Oaks and set up a table and a few chairs on a deserted freeway patch that's usually so congested that the idea would normally be insane to even contemplate. As the photo quickly became internet-famous, the photographer, Glucksman, explained the improvised excursion to Jalopnik simply: "I've got kids, man. I never have time to really have fun."
