Jon Stewart summed up the messy week of debt ceiling negotiations Thursday evening in a sweeping segment that criticized the president's ability to keep the American people calm and, of course, his poker strategy. He criticized the president for not making a more "Rooseveltian" effort to deflate the tension surrounding the impending failure of the American economy. Stewart also recognized how difficult a time Obama has been having in the debt meetings, because the name "Eric" completely deflates any point you could try and emphasize it with.
