On Friday, Kings of Leon had to cut short a Dallas concert after lead singer Caleb Followill walked off the stage and didn't return after telling fans he was "just so [expletive] hot." Now, according to MTV News, the band has issued a statement cancelling the remainder of its U.S. tour, in order to give Followill time to recover from what the statement calls "vocal issues and exhaustion"

After the aborted Dallas concert, bassist and fellow Followill brother Jared tweeted an apology for the show and blamed "internal sicknesses & problems that have needed to be addressed" for his brother's erratic performance, the video of which surfaced online over the weekend and is embedded below.

According to the statement, the band will resume "resume touring in Canada at the Rogers Center in Vancouver, BC, on September 28," a gig that was originally scheduled for two weeks earlier.
