Here at The Atlantic Wire, we respect and value the social media editors who share the links that make our jobs easier. Sometimes, though, we have no idea what they're talking about. So after a day of staring at Twitter, we're sharing our favorites.

These are the things the world would know if National Geographic went ahead with more alligator-related counterprogramming during Shark Week.

It's true! At least according to Most friend Sadie Frost, who also says the model now spends her Saturdays "hang[ing] out in the garden." Which doesn't even appear to be a euphemism for anything.

As Jersey Shore previews go, this is one of the kinder ones. Not the kindest, mind you, but in the upper tier.

Like horses, official Twitter accounts spook easily when there's a pocket tweet (oh, the things you can do with smartphones) in the offing.
