For the first time in six years, ABC has lost the claim on being the most inclusive broadcast network, according to the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). The honor now goes to Fox, which edged out the Disney-owned network with 6.8 percent of its regular characters being gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender compared with ABC's shrinking 3.4 percent. The over-looked factor in Fox's victory? Gay cartoon characters! While ABC has zilch, Fox has a ballooning inventory of them (even if at least one is an "omnisexual" alien). To help you keep track, here they all are:

• Waylon Smithers, The Simpsons character is, of course, the long-suffering subservient assistant to nuclear plant owner Mr. Burns
  

  

• Patty Bouvier is the cranky, lesbian sister of Marge in The Simpsons

  

• Terry, in The Cleveland Show, Terry is a bisexual who came out of the closet last season

• Richard, new to the Fox lineup, is the father to Jonah Hill's character in the animated series Allen Gregory

• Jeremy is Richard's partner's in Allen Gregory

• Terry Bates, in the show American Dad, is an anchorman raising a child with his partner Greg. Who woulda thunk? Fox has two gay characters named Terry.

• Greg Corbin, is partner to Terry

• Roger is the "omni-sexual" alien who plays a supporting character in American Dad

The gay rights movement can now declare victory.
