Here at The Atlantic Wire, we respect and value the social media editors who share the links that make our jobs easier. Sometimes, though, we have no idea what they're talking about. So after a day of staring at Twitter, we're sharing our favorites.

It's 'the first Irish case' of spontaneous combustion ever reported, which we find fascinating for reasons we're not entirely clear on. At least we now know that Spinal Tap never played Dublin.

Epiphanies not making the list include: "I'm 25 years-old. It's time to invest in a sturdy pair of brown wingtips"; "It's been three hours, I should probably stop talking about my skull bong"; "I don't care what that elderly nudist says, the 2001 St. Louis Rams are the greatest football team of my lifetime."

Also: Ryan Gosling seems to be popping up quite a bit lately. What is the deal with that?

The Internet still doesn't have a special font for sarcasm, but at least we now have a way to say INDECISION AND POSSIBLY REGRET TOO!

Remember before George Clooney started taking himself so seriously, all he did was make breezy ketchup-murder capers? Those were terrific.
