Here at The Atlantic Wire, we respect and value the social media editors who share the links that make our jobs easier. Sometimes, though, we have no idea what they're talking about. So after a day of staring at Twitter, we're sharing our favorites.
The only alarming tidbit to come out of the news today that the Nobel prize for medicine was going to a research team that saw one of its members pass away three days ago: the committee's revelation that the group of researchers wouldn't have even been considered for the award had news of biologist Ralph Steinman's death reached the panel. This may be the rule, but it's one of those things that' from a public relations standpoint is best kept secret until circumstances demand it be brought up.
If there isn't already a "Draft Brianna Amat!" movement afoot in the conservative blogosphere, this tweet seems guaranteed to generate. It's been too long since we've had a placekicker in the White House.
