Everyone's favorite 21st-century Renaissance man James Franco is now a novelist -- and a 21st-century one at that. Though it's unclear from whom news of the deal came, The New York Observer's Emily Witt says that Franco has signed a contract with Amazon's new publishing imprint. According to Witt, the book is called Actors Anonymous, "a fictionalized version of Mr. Franco’s experiences as an actor (and grad student?)." Can't wait to see what sort of avant garde performance art slash indie film mash-up Franco concocts for the Kindle Fire version…
