Thanks to some close reading of the lyrics in Ice Cube's "It Was a Good Day," we now know that when the rapper rapped about his perfect day, he was rapping about January 20, 1991. Rigorously following six hard-to-spot clues, Murk Avenue's Donovan Strain arrives at this conclusion:

The ONLY day where:
Yo MTV Raps was on air
It was a clear and smogless day
Beepers were commercially sold
Lakers beat the SuperSonics
and Ice Cube had no events to attend was…
         
          JANUARY 20 1992
      National Good Day Day
