Julian Assange is going to have a guest spot on the 500th episode of The Simpsons airing in February, and getting the elusive face of Wikileaks onto the show sounds like something out a spy novel, reports Entertainment Weekly. Assange, of course, will be the latest in a long line of notable guest stars, but he's probably the only one currently under house arrest in Britain, which made his recording session a little different, according to EW

Assange recorded his lines at a location unknown to Simpsons producers ... as [Simpsons executive producer Al Jean] directed him remotely from Los Angeles. (“I was just given a number to call,” sums up Jean.)

The Simpson family will reportedly go off the grid as the town of Springfield attempts to kick them out in the episode. The cartoon Assange will likely have a lot to teach them.
