On May 2, the only privately-owned copy of The Scream will go on sale, where it's expected to fetch more than $80 million. Apparently there are four copies of the masterpiece in circulation, and Sotheby's is selling Norwegian businessman's Peter Olsen's copy. Olsen, according to NBC, was a friend, neighbor and patron of Munch. A little word of advice whoever wins the auction: Invest in a really good security system, since versions of The Scream were stolen in 1994 and 2004.
