Rep. Darrell Issa's all male debate on contraception raised plenty of eyebrows (including our own) and on Monday night's Daily Show, Jon Stewart weighed in as well. How could a panel of five men and no women who were quoting Joseph Stalin, comparing the pill to ham sandwiches, and dropping phrases like "rape of the soul" when discussing insurance for birth control be taken seriously? The host wonders like we did, especially when as he notes Catholic organizations' insurance plans often cover a certain men's pill (Viagra). "A boner is a need, but not getting pregnant is more of a want," Stewart cracks.
