In 2008, TV talking heads made all sorts of dubious predictions about the socialist/Muslim/liberal things Barack Obama might do in office if elected president, Jon Stewart pointed out last night. These included socializing the economy (didn't happen), terrorists "dancing in the street" (didn't happen), and Second Amendment rights being curbed (didn't happen). So with all those failed forecasts, should we listen to the latest round of crazy predictions for the president's second-term from the likes of Romney, Gingrich, and Bachmann? History, Stewart says, points to "no."
