"Personally, I don't get too worked up about the things Rush Limbugh says, because he is -- and has been for many years -- a terrible person," Jon Stewart said on last night's Daily Show. Sure, his "slut" comment last week was offensive, which is the reason folks (for better or worse) can't stop talking about it. But as Fox News' talking-heads reiterate Rush's claim in less harsh language, and as the GOP candidates repudiate not his beliefs but only his word choice, Stewart points out that Rush is right there in the mainstream Republican fold.
