Ben Stiller's 'Neighborhood Watch' Now Less Awkwardly Titled

Fox has found a solution for the potential challenges of marketing the awkwardly named upcoming film Neighborhood Watch -- with its unintentional echo of the Trayvon Martin case -- by just changing the name altogether.

We noted that the studio was having some headaches after their deliberately obscure marketing campaign led some to worry the Ben Stiller comedy about aliens could be misinterpreted as having something to do with the horrible killing of an unarmed teenager by a neighborhood watchman. So the studio's just going to call the film The Watch, according to Reuters. That doesn't sound like an awesome title in general, but it's much, much better and sort of resolves the difficulty at hand. Maybe someday we'll look back and declare 2012 the year of poorly named alien flicks
