Sometimes the pictures just don't match the words, as with today's breathless reporting of a possible run on Greek banks accompanied by photos of ATM users calmly standing in line. On John Hudson's post, which featured a composite of those photos from Reuters and Zero Hedge (where writers were also breathlessly worrying about a bank run), commenter Miles astutely pointed out that the lines at Greek ATMs didn't look much different from the lines at Manhattan's ATMs. He posted just after lunchtime, so he's probably right:

It's all fun and games until someone spends their entire lunch break waiting in an ATM line.
