When The Atlantic Wire's John Hudson suggested that New York Times columnists David Brooks and Paul Krugman should settle their apparently simmering dispute once and for all, one commenter disagreed.
Mrcyriac makes a good point, that there's a lot of entertainment value to be had in the columnists' back-and-forth:
Do not take it outside. How often do we get to read such a back and forth in one newspaper? If you ask me, it doesn't get any better than this. We are all better off having witnessed the last smackdown that Krugman delivered. I'm waiting for the next one Paul...
Or to keep with John's boxing motif: "Ding ding ding!"
