On Tuesday, The Daily Show host dinged Obama for his cold feet on gay marriage. So Jon Stewart had to walk back his admonition of Obama a bit on last night's Daily Show, after this president's coming out party.

Fortunately for Stewart, there was plenty of comedic fodder with the gays out of one corner of the country: North Carolina, where voters chose to ban gay marriage. Of all the noise to come out of the gay marriage debate there, one preacher's comparison of marriage to eating ice cream takes the cake. "Does your wife know that you can't see the difference between the consensual love that leads to matrimony and the enjoyment you get from a Dairy Queen Blizzard?"
