We realize there's only so much time one can spend in a day watching new trailers, viral video clips, and shaky cell phone footage of people arguing on live television. This is why every day The Atlantic Wire highlights the videos that truly earn your five minutes (or less) of attention. Today:

This short film, Speed Dating, starring Emma Koenig (her brother is Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend) and one Jeff Ward would be a hilarious take ... if it weren't so depressing. Koenig, who wrote and co-directed the flick really hits on some truths about the awkwardness of dating (the "what do you want to do tonight" discussion is so on the money) and no ... that wasn't the sound of our hearts breaking at around 3:51 because it hit too close to home ... nope not ours. 

A couple weeks ago we showed you Corgi Rae Jepsen, the creation of The Pet Collective. And today, we proudly present to you the one and only, Pawdele.

That last video have you feeling good? Well, we're about to ruin it. What we have here is your jerk of the day. Keep your eye on the hockey coach moving from left to right, and watch in horror and anger as he trips a 13-YEAR-OLD hockey player IN THE MIDDLE OF A HANDSHAKE LINE.
